As we head into the Christmas period with the Christmas Party done and dusted and everyone looking forward to the new season. The yearlings are all coming along nicely and have been cantering up Warren Hill. They look to be a nice bunch and we are excited by what we have seen so far. They have a couple more weeks of cantering and then will revert to trotting with the rest of the string during January when the older horses will be returning from their winter breaks.

We are getting geared up to have runners in the New Year with CAPTAIN LARS possibly heading to Lingfield on New Year’s Eve in the apprentice selling contest. He could also be entered in the claiming race on the 2nd January at Southwell and we will look what it the best option for him. On New Year’s Day INSTANT KARMA could be heading to Fakenham to take his chance in the maiden hurdle. He has come out of his race at Huntingdon well and will be schooled again before deciding if he takes his chance. At Southwell MODEST makes her seasonal debut and she has been working nicely over the winter. She is capable of winning again and hopefully can get another bracket by her name before the February Sales. It is good to get back into the action as it gives everyone a bit of excitement through the winter months.

We hope that everyone has a lovely Christmas and that next year will bring the yard as much fun as this year and plenty of winners!
