Firstly we really hope that you like our new website. I am sure that there will be some teething problems to start with while we learn the new software, but hopefully you will find it interesting and informative about life at Fitzroy House. A big thank you must go to Alex Wilkie at Squiggle Design who put it all together for us and Michael Smithson who very kindly let us use some of his brilliant photographs.

Yesterday we sadly had to declare BIG ORANGE a non runner at Wolverhampton as he is was just a little under the weather. It was a great shame as he would have had a great chance in what looked an ideal race for him.

We have declared BORN TO REIGN a runner for Tuesday at Southwell. He was ridden in a piece of work by Tom Queally yesterday and he seemed pleased with him. He has not been in that long after his winter break and appears to have come to hand fairly quickly. He could possibly just need the run on Tuesday, but hopefully he will prove a nice horse this season.

On Thursday we have made and entry for BED BED at Wolverhampton. She worked nicely yesterday and seems to be on the improve. She has wintered well and hopefully she should be suited by the step up in trip.

RUTLAND BOY’S campaign has finished for us in Dubai sadly, and he has now gone to Satish Seemar to be trained. He will remain in Dubai and hopefully they can have some success with him although he does look flattered on his previous form and will possibly struggle to win off his current mark.

There is still time to enter the six to follow competition. We look to have a really nice bunch of horses this season so it should hopefully prove to be a very competitive affair. It is always great fun and hopefully the money will head in a different direction this season and not in M. Bell’s pocket !!!!!
